前回は、メリオダスの力で呪いから解放されたエリザベスと仲間達が「豚の帽子」で楽しく過ごしていました。
しかし、メリオダスの大きすぎる力は世界から反発をかい、このままでは世界が壊れてしまう。
そのため、メリオダスは魔界に戻ることを決めます。
エリザベスは、そのまま残るかと思いきや、やはりメリオダスについていくことに。
エリザベスとメリオダスはみんなと今を楽しんだ後に別れようとしますが、エリザベスの上空から謎の巨石が。

魔界の門に踏み入ろうとするメリオダスとエリザベス。しかし、突如落下した巨石によって、エリザベスは死の危険に脅かされる。間一髪、マーリンによって救われるも、消失したはずのエリザベスの“永劫の輪廻”が復活していることが判明。それはまた、もう一つの事実を〈七つの大罪〉に突きつける。魔神王は、まだ生きている──。魔神王を蘇らせるには、何者かを依り代にしなければならない。それだけの魔力を受け止められる存在に、メリオダスは心当たりがあった。キャメロット跡地の荒野で、いかにして魔神王は復活を果たしたのか？

エリザベスを襲った巨石ですが、マーリンのサポートにより難を逃れます。
上空に永劫の輪廻が現れるのですが、メリオダスは再び破壊します。
しかし、復活していくところをみて、魔神王が生きていることに気づきます。
では誰をのりしろに魔神王が復活したのかという疑問が出てくるのですが、その対象はゼルドリス。
キューザックが、ゼルドリスを魔神王にしてしまいます。
そして、ゼルドリスの身体を乗っ取った魔神王は、自分の所に向かってくるメリオダスとエリザベスを向かい打ちます。
魔神王はキューザックの行動によってゼルドリスをのりしろに復活したんだね
今度こそ消え失せろ

謎の隕石に襲われてエリザベスが亡くなったと思きやマーリンの対応により難を逃れます。
しかし、上空に永劫の輪廻が、
メリオダスは再び魔神王の力を開放して再度破壊しますが、復活します。
倒しても消えない、つまり魔神王は生きていたことがわかります。
まだ旅は終わらないんだね

魔界の扉から現れた新たな敵を向かいうつために、メリオダスとエリザベスを置いてバン達は戦闘に向かいます。
しかし、エリザベスはゼルドリスが新たな魔神王になっていると気づきながらみんなに教えなかったのか聞き返しますが、みんなを巻き込みたくないというメリオダスの気持ちからくるものでした。
そして、みんなが出払った後メリオダスとエリザベスは役割を果たすために2人で旅立ちます。

ゼルドリスの身体を乗っ取った魔神王はまるで、メリオダスとエリザベスが来るとわかっていたように待っていました。

そこでメリオダスは今まで出会った仲間、そして七つの大罪の皆の想いと共に力を開放します。

呪術も進撃も楽しんでる自分からしたら正直、MAPPAにそこまで不満無い。というかワンピの紙芝居作画(ワノ国は違うらしい)、七つの大罪のエスカノール戦、ハイキュー4期の15話、原作破壊した約ネバなど、正直進撃の出来で嘆いてるのは「贅沢だな」とも思うよ。個人的な意見ね。

まさか魔神王が生きているというよりは、キューザックがゼルドリスを媒体に復活させているとは思いませんでした。
でも、ゼルドリスは魔神王となることに拒否しているだけに強引すぎるような気がします。
次回はメリオダスVS魔神王に身体を乗っ取られたゼルドリス。
熱いバトルが展開されそうで楽しみです。
