隙をついて卵を奪ったスカルナイトモンを追い始める太一たち。辿り着いた場所は瘴気に包まれた塔で、かねてより太一たちが目指していた場所でした。結果的についに目的地へと到着することになりました！デビモンが待ち受けているのでしょうが、強力なデジモンたちも共に待ち構えていそうですね……！
沼から現れたスプラッシュモンとの戦闘が勃発します。瘴気を操る敵の能力に、太一たちは追い詰められることとなりました。ちょっとばかしへんてこな見かけだと感じましたが、その強さは折り紙付き！今後も瘴気を平然と扱う敵が出てくるとなると、かなり苦戦を強いられそうです……。
メタルグレイモンの体が瘴気に侵される中、太一の想いが新たな変化を導きます。新たな力を手にしたメタルグレイモンが、見事スプラッシュモンを打ち破りました。進化かと思いきや、メタルグレイモンとして新たな力を手にしました！よりメタル感が増して、惚れ惚れするフォルムですね！

スカルナイトモンに奪われた聖なるデジモンのデジタマを取り戻すため後を追う太一たちは、番人であるスプラッシュモンを倒し瘴気の沼に体を浸したエルドラディモンの甲羅の上に建つ城の中に侵入した。聖なるデジモンを闇に落とし自分たちの仲間に引き入れようとするスカルナイトモンは、デジタマを瘴気の井戸に沈める。その背後にはデビモンの影が。果たして太一たちは間に合うのか。

タケルを導く声に従い、太一たちは塔の中を進んで行きます。そして見つけたデジタマの前には、スカルナイトモンが立ちはだかっていました。ずっとタケルには声が聞こえていたんですね！現実世界まで届くエンジェモンの想いが伺えます……！
デビモンの手で更なる力を授かり、スカルナイトモンはダークナイトモンへ進化します。メタルグレイモンとワーガルルモンが食い止める間に、タケルはデジタマのもとへ急ぎました。デビモンの許可一つで進化できるとは！敵の持ち合わせている力は想像以上の可能性がありますね……。

デビモンが待ち受ける塔へと足を踏み入れた太一たち。デジタマを探してその中を、タケルだけに聞こえる呼び声に従い進みました。タケルを呼ぶ声……何を言っているのか気になりますね……。敵がデビモンということで、塔の中に罠とか仕掛けられていないか不安になります！

ダークナイトモンへ進化したスカルナイトモンは、強力な攻撃を繰り出します。メタルグレイモンとワーガルルモンが苦戦する中、タケルはデジタマのもとへ向かいました。不覚にもダークナイトモン、かっこいいと思ってしまいました！敵ですが……。前回に引き続きタケルの勇敢さが際立っています！

アルゴモンの進化を食い止めるべく応戦する光子郎と空のもとに、丈とミミもやってきます。デジモンたちを進化させカルマーラモンへ攻撃を与えますが、問題が終わったわけではありませんでした。ようやく子どもたちも集合！集められているエネルギーは何用なんでしょう、悪用されることは間違いないですが……。
カルマーラモン瞬殺でしたが、あれで終わる敵ではないでしょうね……。

ワーガルルモンの新たな力でダークナイトモンを退け、デジタマも孵ります。その輝きで塔が崩壊した後、ついにデビモンが太一たちの前に姿を現しました。トントン拍子でデジタマも孵りましたね！再びあの姿へと進化できる日が楽しみです！デビモンが出てきましたが、ようやく直接の決戦でしょうか！
