持ち霊ごと転生した朝倉ハオが転生をしてから13年後、物語は始まります。
みんなで星を眺めようといいますが、墓場の幽霊を一緒にいる葉はまん太に振られます。
しかし、霊が見えるまん太を信用し、葉はシャーマンである秘密をマン太に打ち明け、阿弥陀丸のことを聞くことに。
一方、木刀の竜は６００年前に人を殺しすぎた侍として処刑された阿弥陀丸の墓を木刀の竜は破壊し、まん太に怪我を負わせたため、憑依合体をした葉と阿弥陀丸は仕返しに竜を倒します。
葉はシャーマンキングになるために、仲間になってほしいと阿弥陀丸に言います。
阿弥陀丸は茂助を待っているといいますが、実は茂助も『春雨』を阿弥陀丸に渡すまで成仏できずにいました。
そこで、葉が憑依合体で身体をかすことで茂助に春雨を鍛えなおしてもらいます。
阿弥陀丸は葉に感謝し、一緒にシャーマンキングになることを決めました。

葉は霊を見て逃げてしまったまん太を見て悲しそうな顔をしますが、次の日に同じクラスに転校することに。
まん太は幽霊野郎と葉のことを言いますが、葉は幽霊の存在しを否定し、学校では面倒なことを起こさないようにします。
梯子をおろされたような形になったまん太ですが、まん太は葉が気になり…?

まん太が葉に会いに行くと、そこには不良で有名な木刀の竜とその仲間たちがいます。近くまで行ってしまったまん太は、竜たちにボコボコにされ、まん太を友達として見ていた葉が怒ります。
竜に墓を倒されていた阿弥陀丸と一緒に竜にやり返すことができました。
阿弥陀丸の強さと心の温かさを知った葉は、一緒にシャーマンキングになろうと誘いますが、なんと断られてしまいます…。
